I met Marcel Oudejans at a restaurant once in December 2007. He did some fancy card-trick and since then I’ve been tracking his career. What an interesting chap!

OK, so I finally sorted out the mp3 file for the Interview with Helen Zille on Matters that Matter. [Thanks Leila]

[and thanks to Staffy for nagging until I put it up!]

With only 1 week to go to South Africa’s National and Provincial Elections it’s going to be really interesting to see what the end results will be! Will the ANC get the 2/3s it needs to change the constitution at will? How will COPE do? Will the DA win the Western Cape outright or need a coalition to be in power?

So much fun!

OK, I know politics is a forbidden topic in polite company. Along with Sex and Religion. It seems to me that Polite Company wants to take all the fun out of life!

On Wednesday 1 April (and this is no April Fool’s Joke) I got to interview Helen Zille with my good friend Leila Smith, from Voice of the Cape FM.

Let me say that this is a phenomenal woman. It’s certainly no wonder why she leads the Main Opposition party in South Africa. Besides her incredible political mind she also came across as someone who geniunely cares for the people she serves.

So, keep your bar-coded ID books ready for 22 April – I think it’s going to be an interesting election!
